Scars

I've been over it/him for a while. He never really enters my thoughts until someone mentions him or asks me about my past guy situations. Pretty normal. But then everytime someone mentions his name my body physically aches like the moment it did when he broke my heart. Why is that? My fear is that it is a scar... and scars last forever.
